|
Learning pathways allow you to take advantage of all the Instructor-led ESRI training Eagle Technology
provides.
Below are answers to common questions about Learning Pathways.
|
|
What exactly is a learning pathway?
A learning pathway defines a set of Eagle Technology Instructor-led ESRI training
courses that focus on a particular aspect of GIS. A pathway certificate is awarded upon completion.
Is a learning pathway a certification program?
No, learning pathways are not designed to certify individuals. There are no testing requirements to earn a learning pathway certificate.
Is there a special process to participate in a learning pathway?
There is no special process or cost for participating in a learning pathway. When you complete an Eagle Technology Instructor-led training course they will automatically be counted toward any applicable learning pathways. Once you complete the requirements for a learning pathway, you will be issued a certificate at no cost.
Do I need to complete a learning pathway within a certain amount of time?
Because the goal of learning pathways is to develop knowledge and skills using current software, participants are encouraged to complete a learning pathway within 24 months. Eagle Technology may periodically change courses in a learning pathway to keep current with the latest software.
Will additional learning pathways be offered?
Yes, new learning pathways will be announced as they become available.
Will I be awarded a Learning Pathways Certificate if I have not completed one of the Desktop Foundation Learning Pathway courses but have completed all of the other courses for a Learning Pathway?
GIS experience will be taken into consideration if a Desktop Foundation Learning Pathway course has not been completed yet all the other Learning
Pathway requirements have been meet. You will not however get a Desktop Foundation Learning Pathway certificate unless you have completed all
required courses in this Learning Pathway.
